Privacy Policy — Torhen Price Proof

Last updated: 2026-09-06 · Provided by TORHEN SPA (Chile).

Torhen Price Proof ("the app") helps Shopify merchants record their own price history and audit compare-at (strikethrough) prices for deceptive-pricing risk under U.S. FTC former-price rules and the EU Omnibus directive. This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, and how it is protected.

Data we access

The app does not access customer personal data, orders, or payment information.

How we use it

Solely to provide the app's features: recording price history, auditing compare-at prices, and generating an evidence record, tracking state deadlines, and generating reports for you. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it is stored

Data is stored in Cloudflare D1 (a managed SQL database) on Cloudflare's network, accessed only by the app's Cloudflare Worker. Access tokens are stored securely and used only for Shopify Admin API calls on your behalf.

AI processing

Product text may be sent to Cloudflare Workers AI (and, for premium classification only, Anthropic's Claude API) to infer material categories. Only product text is sent; no customer or order data. These providers process the text to return a classification and do not use it to train models under their business terms.

Retention & deletion

Your data is retained while the app is installed. When you uninstall, we honor Shopify's app/uninstalled and shop/redact webhooks and delete your store's data. You may also request deletion at any time via the contact below.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. We comply with Shopify's mandatory GDPR/CCPA data-request webhooks (customers/redact, customers/data_request, shop/redact).
